This is a basic class, designed to introduce beginners to the enjoyable and money-saving world of metallic cartridge reloading for both handguns and rifles. No previous experience is necessary, nor is any handloading equipment. This is not an advanced class for competitive shooters or wildcatters. Under 18 O.K. with parent, BSA Venture Scouts welcome.
This course will be offered as an all-day workshop at the Oak Tree Gun Club from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
Students will be given reloading components for both handgun and rifle cartridges at the beginning of the class, and walked through the reloading process step-by-step. At the end of the class, students will fire the cartridges they have made on the Oak Tree Pistol Range.
Class Fee: $100.00, including instruction, classroom and range access, all training materials, reference literature, supplies and equipment. Cash or checks only, please. No credit cards. Lunch is not included, but may be bought at the Gun Club. The course will be strictly limited to eight students only. First come, first served. Payment in full by the first eight applicants guarantees their place on the class roster. Students will be given their study packet after payment in full.
