Classes And Instruction > TAC-1 Defensive Firearms Class


TAC-1 - Tactical Advanced Combat (LLC) is a defensive firearms training modeled after the highly effective, proven method developed by Ret. LAPD Firearms Instructor, Lou Salseda. TAC-1 has a diverse cross-section of classes ranging from Defensive Pistol to Tactical Rifle & Shotgun for home defense. All of our instructors have extensive Law Enforcement backgrounds with specialized training in tactical firearms, achievements in advanced marksmanship and self-defense. TAC-1 trainings are not about just learning how to shoot a firearm. Training courses are practical and tactical - much based on real incidents taken out of the daily newspaper. If what we teach is too complicated then it will not work in real world when you lose your fine motor skills! TAC-1 caters to beginners to advanced level. We offer a no-nonsense, combat proven tactical firearms training curriculum. In short, we use what works from the ground up.

	�Every class builds on a defensive mindset particular to the individual tactical discipline. Incorporating mindset development into tactical training greatly increases the chances of success and the survival rate in a lethal confrontation. �TAC-1's efficient and consistent methodology trains our students to manage stress and promote the ability to think critically thus swiftly assess/respond to a threatening situation.

The cadre not only stays proficient at existing skill sets, but invests significant effort researching and testing techniques being employed around the country. By constantly honing on their own skills, the instructors are able to continually improve the course material keeping the curriculum living and dynamic.
