20th Annual BMW-CHP Motorcycle Ride

On September 30, 2010, Jim Mitchell and Oak Tree Gun Club hosted the 20th annual BMW-CHP motorcycle ride. This year’s event honored the ride’s founder, Jim Ryan, as well as the CHP’s 11-99 Foundation and St. Francis Medical Center Foundation. This year five CHP officers were killed in the line of duty. The 11-99 Foundation provides financial assistance to the families of these heroes.

The ride originated at Oak Tree Gun Club and continued on to Death Valley, Yosemite, and Cambria before returning to Los Angeles. The riders enjoyed fourteen hundred miles of beautiful California scenery and great weather.

Info regarding this event and the 11-99 Foundation can be found at info@chp11-99-org. Oak Tree encourages interested parties to join this wonderful organization.
