Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Oak Tree Gun Club LLC is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Our pages are designed to work with screen readers and keyboard navigation, use sufficient color contrast, and provide text alternatives for images.

Accessibility features

A person's disability is often unique, and what works well for one person may not work for another. In addition to the accessibility features built into the Website, most browsers and operating systems provide their own aids, such as zoom, high-contrast modes, and screen readers.

This Website also includes a built-in accessibility panel, opened from the "Accessibility tools" button in the footer of every page or the button below. It offers larger text, high contrast, underlined links, and reduced motion with paused video. Your settings are kept in your browser's local storage and never leave your device. Every page also has a "Skip to content" link for keyboard users, respects your operating system's reduce-motion setting, and uses standard dialogs that trap and return focus. Our background videos are silent and decorative.

Before the content of most pages, a dialog asks you to confirm that you are 18 or older. It is keyboard operable, focus lands on the confirm button, and your answer is remembered on this device for 30 days.

Third-party content

Some content on the Website is provided through third-party services: the Smartwaiver waiver form embedded on our waivers page, the Cloudflare Turnstile verification step in our forms, our online store on the Gearfire platform, and Google Maps when you open directions. We do not control the structure of these services and cannot modify them, so they may not work the same way for every user or every type of disability.

Ongoing improvement

We review the Website regularly and address accessibility issues as we find them. Despite our efforts, some content, features, or processes may still be improved, and we welcome your suggestions.
